NCHE (North Carolinians for Home Education) was founded in 1984 by homeschool parents in order to protect the right to educate their children at home.

HSLDA and Patrick Henry College launched the Academy in 2009 as a service to homeschool and private school families looking for ways to supplement their students’ high school education. The Art of Problem Solving online classes bring outstanding students together with highly accomplished instructors to prepare the students for the rigors of top-tier colleges and internationally competitive careers. The AoPS Online School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
The Lukeion Project offers live online synchronous and specialized semester classes. Courses include Latin and Greek languages, classical history, English literature, and more. These classes are primarily designed for the high school level but have broad appeal to young gifted and adult learners as well.
The Royal Fireworks Online Learning Community offers students an array of subjects, many of which you won't find anywhere else. They provide personalized instruction that accommodates children of a variety of ability levels, from those who are of average ability to those who are profoundly gifted and highly creative, as well as those who have dyslexia and other processing issues.
