I'd love to hear from anyone about whether they have found any summer camps geared towards the PG kid.

Last summer we traveled to Reno to do STARS with Davidson Institute https://www.davidsongifted.org/gifted-programs/summer-programs/stars-summer-camp/

It was great and our 11 YO loved it (fab to be around other kids like him). But frankly, we can't go that far every summer. So we will skip this year and try to find something more local.

We're in the Raleigh-Durham area, and one thing I have found is the SIG (summer institute for the gifted) camp at UNC-CH.

Has anyone done SIG before?

We're only looking for one academic/enrichment opportunity -- we'll put our son in some outdoorsy camps as well, which he tends to really like.
